We are glad you're here

Welcome

We’re Always Excited to Welcome New Visitors

At New Beginnings Worship Center, we're always excited to welcome new visitors. We hope you'll join us as we worship and celebrate what God is doing in our midst. We want to make your visit as comfortable as possible. Here's what you can expect:

Connection, Refreshments, Scriptures, Teaching, and Q&A: Our Morning Fellowship & Refresher (9:45 am, Sundays) is an informal time that includes teaching and discussion, accompanied by refreshments.

11:00 am Sundays is Our Weekly Worship Gathering.

Praise and Celebration. At New Beginnings, God put it in our hearts, and we want to celebrate the gifts of songs God has prophetically given to the Body of Christ through the ages. So, you will find a mixture of songs and styles as we celebrate, praise, and adore our God and Father and the Lord Jesus Christ through His Spirit. So, you are apt to hear and sing songs you are likely familiar with.

Our Centerpiece: In the Revelation of Jesus Christ, Jesus stands in the midst of the golden lampstands, which represent His church. Our focus is upon and being in pursuit of the eternal purpose of God, "that we would be conformed to the image of His Son" (Rom 8:29). Christlikeness and pursuing the fullness of Christ through the grace, work, and power of the Holy Spirit are the centerpiece behind the dynamic, inspired messages shared each week.
We offer opportunities for prayer and encourage you to linger afterwards to get to know us and share in refreshments.

We are located at 25013 W Michigan Ave just a few miles west of Albion, MI about 2000 feet west of 26 Mile Rd (Starr Commonwealth Rd). Parking is located next to the worship center.

If you have mobility restrictions or young children to carry, feel free to use one of the spots closest to the door. We like to keep them free for visitors and people who need assistance.

Please don't worry about what you'll wear,

for we truly believe people should come to God as they are. You don't need to dress up to get His approval. That comes through Jesus' sacrifice. Once you walk in the doors, you'll see all types of people in all kinds of dress. While a few people in the church wear ties, others remember that Jesus never wore a tie. Shorts are as welcome as suits, and you'll see both.

When you walk in,

find one of our greeters and introduce yourself. They're usually stationed at the doors, and they'll show you where everything is. They'll help you find the nursery and Children's Ministry rooms if you have kids. Our greeters can also point you to the restrooms, sanctuary and fellowship area. If you have any questions about the service itself, the greeters are able to provide helpful answers.

In the foyer you'll find a brochure rack. Feel free to grab a copy of "Getting to Know Us" or "Our Statement of Faith" or any other magazines or brochures we have featured.

Be sure to hang around after the service and join us for coffee.

You'll have a chance to meet our pastor and many other people from our group. We'd also love to get to know you so you're a familiar face the next time you come.

What To Expect

When you come to join us for the first time,

one of our greeters will be glad to help you become comfortable. If you'd like, they'll help you find the nursery, childrens ministry center, restrooms, auditorium, and, of course, coffee afterwards.

During the service,

you'll hear our faith and praise expressed through the songs we sing, our prayers and our pastor's preaching. All parts of our service are grounded in the Scriptures, which we are committed to upholding.

New Beginnings Worship Center is non-denominational. We are a group of Christians who are passionately determined to become like Christ and welcome the presence of the Holy Spirit as we worship God.

You will find that we don't believe in formalism, nor will you find that we are polished professionals. We offer our best as we seek to be led of the Holy Spirit and serve in ministering to our local body of believers and to the Lord.

After the service,

join us for a cup of coffee and give us a chance to get to know each other. Say hello to our pastor and anyone else you see. We'd all love to hear your story and share ours with you.

No matter what your Christian background is (or isn't), we hope you'll join us on Sunday. Here at New Beginnings Worship Center, you'll find people of all sizes, stripes and colors, and we welcome everyone--including you. We gather together for worship each Sunday:

  • 9:45am AM Fellowhip Refresher (teaching, discussion, and refreshments - Fellowship Room)
  • 11:00am Worship Gathering

"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works."

(Hebrews 10:24)

At New Beginnings Worship Center, we have this hope: to see people come to know Jesus Christ and grow in their Christian faith as they mature in Christ.  Our ministries come in all shapes and sizes.  Please come and join us!

Children's Ministry

Our Children's ministry allows children to hear and rejoice while learning about the good news of Jesus Christ. We seek to create a fun and loving environment for all Children. Children's ministry is available for all ages each Sunday morning as the children are released before the message. Our nursery is also available each Sunday morning.

Message and a Meal

Several times a year we make it a point to "break bread" after designated Sunday morning gatherings: Message and a Meal.

During this time everyone attending is welcome to dine with us in our fellowship hall, and we make it a point to invite friends and family for these occasions as well.

Men's Ministry

Men's ministry provides opportunities for men to get together for worship and community outreach. Whether we are getting together for a hiking trip or prayer breakfast our mission is to grow in our faith and to build strong relationships with our friends and community.

Women's Ministry

Women's Ministry allows women to get together for fellowship and outreach projects. Whether we are getting together for a bible study or retreat, our mission is to grow in Christ and to build strong relationships with our friends and community as we take on projects to assist our outreach ministries. Women's Ministry meets one Saturday of every month.

Missions

We are actively involved with praying for and assisting our brothers and sisters in Christ in Kisii, Kenya. They became our sister Body of Believers in October of 2025. God brought Pastor Enock of Kenya and our Pastor Hal together through the leading of the Holy Spirit. Our elders and congregation embraced this opportunity wholeheartedly! We are humbled and honored to be a part of the Great Commission of making disciples in this part of the world, as we intercede in prayer and provide assistance in their behalf.
